Why Pro Kettlebells?

Advantages of Pro Kettlebells
In all level of sports, amateur or professional there are standardized equipment and rules. In soccer, the soccer ball used in Europe to South America and Asia is the same. The dimensions of the playing field and goal posts conform to a universal standard. The same applies to kettlebell sport. In kettlebell competition, the size, colours, shape and weight conform to a standardized design and follow the same set of rules and what is considered a scoring "lift".
In training with the Pro Series kettlebell, the lifter can start by learning the basics with a lighter weight and in learning the most efficient way to move the kettlebell requires hundreds if not thousands of repetitions. After developing this set of motorskills and timing based on this Pro Series kettlebell, the lifter can then focus on increasing the weight WITHOUT needing to relearn to lift a kettlebell of a different dimension thus optimizing training time and efficiency of training focus.
If we compare this with tennis, it's like changing the size of the ball from the size of a golf ball to a soccer ball as you move up from amateur to professional levels. By changing the parameters of the tools, you have to relearn a new technique and also deal with a heavier weight. This is not very efficient as we all have limited time and resources available. The most efficient way to train with kettlebells is to use a kettlebell that shares the same physical dimensions (e.g. same diameter handle, same size bell, height of the kettlebell, etc.) with the only variable being the weight. This way the lifter only has to adjust to the new heavier weight and not have to relearn how to grip or lift the new weight and can avoid the problems of re-callousing the hands and finding the new balance of the new weight.
Kettlebell Handle Conditioning Service
Whether it is a new, fresh out of the box kettlebell or a seasoned one, the handle will require some form of conditioning and this is especially true with the raw steel handled kettlebells.
We provide handle conditioning service with 3 options:
Option 1: hand-sanded to remove rust and small burrs and other imperfections to the handle. Handle is left raw and unpainted. Cost: RM 30.00
Option 2: hand-sanded to remove rust and small burrs and other imperfections to the handle and have the divets and any small holes are filled and sealed with metal epoxy and re-sanded for a smooth grip. Handle is left raw and unpainted. Cost: RM 50.00
Option 3: As above (option 2) and the handle repainted with high quality, imported enamel paint (colour: white) to a smooth, durable finish. Cost: RM 60.00
By sanding the handle smoothly you can immediately feel the difference on your grip and how it improved your grip for timed sets and especially for the kettlebell snatch.
You will need to send in your kettlebell to our studio for handle conditioning. We do not collect /deliver kettlebells. We only provide this service for kettlebells that we consider in servicable condition.
